do we need to bring our own SLR??? can we participate in a pair…like a camera shared by 2 persons?
December 17th, 2009 on 1:10 pm
@Parth:- No you don’t need to bring your own SLR camera.
We’ll be providing you the cameras. If in case you want to know more as to how you can use your camera for light painting you can bring it and ask the organizer how to go about it using your camera.
Sorry you cannot participate in a pair as their is individual participation. So no need to share either as we’ll be separating you in groups to create your own light painting-a DO IT YOURSELF practice session during the workshop…

whats an SLR camera? is it the same as digicam? i want to know if i’ll be able to do the stuff learned at the workshop with my “canon powershot A1000″ cam
December 27th, 2009 on 4:24 am
@ Mayur, an SLR camera is a Single Lens Reflex Camera. I will be explaining it in more details in the workshop. You can find more answer to that on the Wikipedia / Google.
Yes this kind of stuff can be done with the Camera you mentioned, however there are some limitations to it. But I am sure after the workshop you will be able to do much more with your camera.
Hope that helps.
