Accommodation

We will give you the roof over your head! However this desire to reside on campus during the days of FOOTPRINTS, has to be communicated to us prior to the actual days, ’cause we, as good hosts, like to make sure things are just right. Accommodation details are up on the site.

Team FP will provide accommodation to all the outstation contingents.

1. Accommodation would be provided strictly against a valid college I-card and strictly on shared basis.

2. All the members of the contingent are required to register at FOOTPRINTS website and it is compulsory for them to provide valid contact details.

3. Contact details of the participants would be used by Team FP for future invitations and updates.

4. The accommodation for FOOTPRINTS’10 would be provided from 18th February 2000 hrs to 22nd February 0800hrs. Accommodation during Imacbotz workshop will be provided from 12th February 2000 hrs to 15th February 0800 hrs. Accomodation during the period in between i.e from 15th February 8000 hrs to 18th February 2000 hrs may be availed too.

5. The contingents would be issued mattresses for their stay & one has to collect it from the respective volunteer present at the provided accommodation place.

6. For non participants accommodation would be provided on first cum first serve basis.

7. Fee Structure:
12th February 2000 hrs to 15th February 0800 hrs: Rs.150 per person
18th February 2000 hrs to 22th February 0800 hrs: Rs 150 per person
12th February 2000 hrs to 22nd February 0800 hrs : Rs 450 per person

These charges include the rent for above mentioned duration.
One who is interested has to submit the charges before the registration date.

8. Terms and Conditions:

I. All the items issued are returned in proper condition.
II. No damage has been done to the room where accommodation has been provided.
III. Rooms are vacated on or before 22nd February 0800hrs.

Note: In case of violation of any of the above, Team FP has all rights to take disciplinary action against contingents.

8. Team FP would not be responsible for the lost of your valuables. It is preferable to keep it along with you.

9. Anyone found consuming or having possession of alcohol or cigarettes will be debarred from the fest immediately.

10. All the participants have to abide by the rules and regulations of Team FP during their stay.

11. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Team FP will be final and binding.

Accommodation and General FAQs

• Is accommodation provided to students who do not participate in Competitions?
- Yes, you will get accommodation even if you don’t participate in competitions and just want to see the festival or be the audience.

• Will I have to pay only half the amount if I stay only for two days?
- Even if you stay for two days you will be charged the same amount.

• Do I need to submit any documents (identity proof) while taking accommodation?
- No documents are required, just a valid college ID card.

• How do I register for accommodation?
- You are required to fill (online) all the details which are asked in the Accommodation Form.

• When will you confirm my accommodation?
- Accommodation is given to all the outstation students. A separate confirmation will be sent to you through mail.

• Is accommodation based on first come first serve basis?
-All the FP participants would be provided with the accommodation.
• - Accommodation for non participants is based on first come first serve basis. Our aim is to provide accommodation to all the outstation participants.

• Will I get separate accommodation if I am not a part of my college contingent?
- Yes, even if you are not a part of your college contingent accommodation will be provided to you.

• Are separate arrangements made for accommodation of professors/guardians?
- Your professors/guardians will be provided accommodation along with you. You are not allowed to bring your guardians. Professors will be charged double the rate for students. Their ID card is also a must.

• Is there any deadline for registering for accommodation?
- Accommodation will not be provided after the mentioned registration date at any cost.

• What is the climate in Baroda like in the month of February?
- The temperatures here are around 20° C. A few warm clothes will be enough. You will surely not need them during daytime.

• Am I allowed to take pics/videos of my event?
- You are allowed to take pics/videos of your events. Cameras are prohibited only for the events which fall under Rolling Squares.

• Is food included in the accommodation charges?
- The amount collected for accommodation DOES NOT include mess facilities. A full fledged canteen will be available on all four days.

Events FAQs

• How will I get an entry for the Rolling Squares?
- You are required to collect your pass from the pass distribution stall which will be located inside campus.

• Where should I collect my prizes and certificates?
- All prizes and certificates are to be collected on the evening of closing ceremony.
